I cannot believe we are already planning a first birthday! Where does that time go? It seems like just yesterday Delilah was born.
Her mom and dad have chosen to do a Wild One theme. So many things planned and we are all looking forward to celebrating her life!
Here are ideas with some DIY desserts for the kids!
How cute is this?
Beach theme – While there’s still some summertime left, pop in the soundtrack to The Little Mermaid and decorate the tables with buckets of candy served with sand shovels. Grab some Sugar Bowl Bakery Madeleines and have the kids create their own “oysters!”
Love this Ice Cream cone idea!
Ice cream shoppe theme – Choose some old timey ice cream shoppe décor and, of course, set up an ice cream bar. For a spin on the classic cone, have the kids put a Sugar Bowl Brownie Bite on top and drizzle a bit of frosting to kick it up a notch. Even better: who doesn’t love brownies mixed with some vanilla bean ice cream?
This little smash cake is so amazing too and with a brownie bite on top!
Birthdays are so fun and I love nothing more than celebrating the life of people that are close to me, whether they are 1 or 101. Life is exciting and should be celebrated as often as possible!
