Tales From A Southern Mom was privileged to work with My Brest Friend in a review of their wonderful nursing pillow.

It has so many great features that I was impressed with from the get go.

Firm

Pocket

Minky fabric

Curves along the waist

Washable cover

Portable

The fit of the pillow around the waist made the Brest Friend pillow feel so much more secure, it did not feel like it was slipping away under the baby. The pocket in the pillow to hold a water bottle or anything else essential is so wonderful.  I think it would be a favorite of moms who had a c-section as it has a little more cushion with some firmness to it against the tummy.  The feel of the cover was so nice and soft, new babies just love to feel such nice fabrics against them.

Brest Friend seems to be able to help with positioning in the football hold which a lot of other support pillows don’t do very well this is a really nice feature, it is more like a ledge to sit baby on instead of just a booster up.  This pillow was nice and gave more of a flat surface to help the baby rest on and not all of the weight of the baby was directly onto my back and me.

Having the Velcro adjusting strap makes it super easy to change the shape and tightness of the pillow as things in your body move around some after the birth. Strapping it on allows every mom to get a more custom fit.

When learning to breastfeed it is so important that you have the right tools, a pillow support, I believe is one of the best tools you can have, this Brest Friend pillow fits all the requirements I was looking for in learning how to nurse and to learn it comfortably.  Supporting the lower back was something that I noticed this pillow did much better than just using regular pillows or pillows that were squishier.  More of a firm support against the whole upper body.

I couldn’t breast feed when I had the twins; my daughter is now pregnant and is planning on breast feeding; this is going to be awesome to buy for her. Thank you.

This looks like a great quality nursing pillow. Will share this with my daughter who is nursing and needs a good pillow.
