This mask was interesting. It is the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask and I used it a few times so far. It had a nice smell, was rather earthy and felt very smooth in my hands.
I applied the mask to my whole face, it was very smooth and nice feeling when I first put it on. I found as it was drying it did not get that chalky and cracked feeling, it actually dried nicely.
I used a warm cloth and kind of soaked it on my face for a few minutes to soften the mask. I could have skipped this step as it did not need the moisture to make it come off. It easily wiped off and came off really clean.
I used a toner and then moisturized my face and I was impressed with the product for sure.
Now the interesting part was that it made some of my face which was dry feel smooth and moisturized, much less flaky.
The parts that were a little oilier, felt perfect almost like the mask knew which parts to moisturize and which parts to take away the extra oil.
Rather like that pain pill that goes to where it hurts and we cannot figure out why, it just knows where to go. This is what the mask did.
I think that I was most impressed with fact that my skin felt luxurious afterwards, almost like I had been to get a facial and massage. I liked that smooth, nice all over even feeling on my face. It has been a long time since I felt that after using a product.
My skin is aging and getting those patches of dry, patches of sensitive, patches of acne once in awhile, and I really needed to find a product like this. I will probably buy more when this tube is gone. The price point is pretty reasonable for the results you get.
