I love baby clothes! I am probably like everyone else, and just think they are so cute. Tales From A Southern Mom was privileged to review a great brand of clothing for babies called beba bean. The clothes are so adorable and they are so hard to pick from. When I was asked to pick one, it was almost impossible for me. They have clothing available from 0-24 months and it is all so beautiful. Crochet things, bamboo things, linen things and herringbone hats are just some of the options. If you want a gift to impress for a baby shower this is the place to go.
This company was started by a husband and wife team, and at the start was their invention of the pee-pee teepee, which helped her with a problem she encountered while changing their newborn son. They were both a little shocked that nobody had invented a solution to the problem before. It is now 10 years later and the pee-pee teepee is still one of their best sellers. I of course love the fact that they are a contributor to a charity called Basics for Baby, where they give blankets and clothing to children to help assist their families.
I finally decided on something pratical and chose a bamboo sleep sacque in Navy blue for the new baby boy! When it came in the mail, it was so soft and felt so nice, its one of those things that you would like a whole wardrobe in for yourself and your baby. It was a practical choice, but one that I just adore.
New baby’s have that skin that is so very soft and untouched and this was something that matched that feeling. The fit on our big almost 10 pound newborn was perfect. I liked the fold over cuffs on the hands to keep little nails from scratching faces. I liked how when the sacque was on it came to a V in the front, I liked this fit as it kept that fold all babes have free from moist clothing. This baby was chubby to say the least and with chubby little cheeks, moisture under his neck is a problem and this helped a lot.
It was easy to change him when he wore it, the elastic band was thick and solid so it was not getting caught up in his feet, it stayed down around his feet when wearing it. We were able to put a swaddle over it and it was perfect. The sleeps sacques come in two colors a nice solid grey and a navy blue.
I love baby clothes! What I love more are baby clothes that are beautiful, sustainable, feel wonderful against their skin and are practical. Its a tall order for me to be completely happy with something for baby.
Check out the online store they have HERE, and I am sure you will find something that you love. I know that when I have baby showers to go to, this is going to be my first stop. beba bean is giving away a $25.00 gift card for their online store to one of our readers. All you have to do to is enter in the form below. Good Luck!

July 19, 2014 at 9:13 pmI’ve been lucky to have the only grand babies in both families, so I’ve pretty much been able to avoid buying too many clothing items. When I do buy baby clothes it’s usually something specific like a water hat or black comfy pants usually from tjmaxx or where ever I happen to be, like the water park.
