I love to read to my grandkids. So, when I was asked to review a new book by I See Me I jumped at the chance. I am overjoyed that I did. I love the book they sent me for my little 2.5 yr old. When the book came in the mail she wanted to read it right away, but of course she had no idea it was even about her yet. She knew it was colorful and had a pretty girl on the front and it looked like a good thing to read while sitting with Nana. We sat down and looked through it, she wanted to go super fast, I was just in awe! I love the book, I love the colors, I love the story, the illustrations, the way it can teach children, the whole thing was fabulous. My son named my granddaughter Destini, not Destiny, but with an I at the end. Does he not realize how this child will never be able to find a key chain at an amusement park? He did not comprehend that no pencil, pen, magnet, t-shirt, nothing is going to have her name on it spelled correctly at all those great gift shops. Now, look what we have! We have a fabulous book that is all about her and has her name throughout it, spelled correctly even. She was just so surprised. The whole story starts when you order the book. You send in a clear picture of your child, you answer a few short questions about skin tone, hair color, eye color etc. and then when the book comes it has all of those things included. I was a little shocked that the book did look like her. The book is about a girl named Destini of course and her becoming a big girl, going potty, going to bed, cleaning up, eating right, going to school and all the big girl adventures they have. She is just learning all of these things so it was indeed perfect for us and her age group. They also sent us a whole page of stickers with her name on them. She loves these stickers! Everyone else in the house not so much as they are all over the house and on everything from stuffed animals to headboard, but hey they are all her things so i guess she got the connection. The stickers I could order five or so sheets of, they are really neat to have something with her name spelled correctly. I put one on her dresser, and one on her box of toys, she was very excited about the whole thing. You can buy the stickers at their website, and they have quite a few different styles of them, some even with pictures of your child. I, over all love this book, it is a nice hardcover, it has good quality graphics and the personalization makes it such a great gift! I can’t wait until I can get one for my grandson. He of course will want to read it over and over again too. Right now they have a sweepstakes going on, here is the information: Summer Reading Sweepstakes!! Grand prize gets a $250 Visa Gift Card and 5 Personalized Books!! 25 Runners Up get a personalized coloring book. Ends 8/31. http://services.listrak.
