The recalled product is Ground Oregano in 0.75-ounce bottles. The UPC number is 0 523561 6 and dates are best by AUG 21 16 H and best by AUG 22 16 H. The item number is 900356. The product was shipped to Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington state, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. It was also shipped to Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Indonesia, Jamaica, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Thailand, and the Virgin Islands.

Routine FDA testing discovered this problem. Do not return the product to the store; dispose of the product and its container in a double bag. Contact McCormick Consumer Affairs for replacement or refund.
