Here is a shocking fact: The National Retail Federation is hoping parents will spend even more on school supplies this year. It quotes a study predicting the average family will spend $527 this year, up from $443 last year. WHAT??!! Seriously that is crazy.
Many families do not have that kind of extra money to spend on school supplies. The budgets are cut at the school, teachers are spending a lot of their own money, so what is a parent to do? Go to Staples. Don’t walk over there. Run, take a jet plane, maybe even a bus, but get to Staples.
They have some of the BEST prices on school supplies. They have a Staples LessList, where they have the lowest prices all season long. Look at everything that I got for under $10.00! How incredible is this! Most kids need all of these things and it was so much cheaper at Staples. Many people look at Staples as a place to buy office supplies, and reams of paper, but for back to school shopping this really is the place to go. The markers, colored pencils and crayons alone will cost you over $20 at some other stores. Pens and pencils are going to be an ongoing need, so stock up and have some put away for the rest of the school year. I have found that as the school year goes on there is less and less products in the store that your kids need. Look at the list of things I got for under 10 bucks!
- pack of pens
- pack of pencils
- wooden ruler
- crayola crayons
- crayola markers
- crayola colored pencils
- Composition book
- Spiral Notebook
- Folder
- Bottle of Glue
School Supplies do not have to kill your budget, your kids can have the best stuff and you wont be drowning in debt to get them there. Staples believes in this so much they are sponsoring a giveaway for 5 winners to receive a $25.00 gift card to Staples. This is more than double the amount of money for these things! You are going to be set for back to school. Enter Below, then when you go to Staples you have everything you need!
