Surprise Ride is a monthly subscription box for children ages 6-11. Each box includes materials to do hands-on activities with a variety of themes. There are currently four different subscription types: The Frequent Flyer ($29.99 monthly box), The Excursion (3 months @ $29.99 each), The Road Trip (6 months @ $24.99 each), and The Jet Setter (12 months @ $24.99 each).
I was worried about my boys not wanting to share the Surprise Ride box I received, but we actually had no problems (maybe that’s another surprise about the box)!
This is my middle son, Noah, opening the box. His expressions are either way too much or way too little (pictured here) lol. I liked that the box came with other items such as a book (pictured here) and a bag of Plentils!
This was the first project, “Make a Plant Buddy.” My oldest son, Wyatt, focusing on pouring the soil into the stocking. The main thing they needed help with was using to the rubber bands to tie off little nubs. Also, I must say that our plant buddy, The Headless Horseman (they chose!), lost his eyes after just one day of watering. I need to take updated pics of our guy because he certainly has some grass sprouting after a couple of days!
This is the second project, “Design a Garden Wind Chime”. I liked this project because they give you plenty of plastic mosaic tiles, making sharing possible! We utilized both sized of the wooden block and so far, the tiles have not fallen off.
All in all, I love Surprise Ride! My boys liked it too. I’m please with what they made! Looks like fun, huh? Well, enter the Surprise Ride Box Giveaway down below for a chance to win your very own box! Thank you, Surprise Ride!
