I have talked before on the blog about how important kid shoes are.  I know that sometimes the cute character shoes that kids beg for are not the best made shoes.  I really feel that good shoes are more important that any character or lights on shoes.

Kid O Fit sent me a pair of shoes to review for Destini, and I was really pleased with them.  They have so many different features that are good for growing feet and bodies.

One of the most unusual things about these shoes that I think is key is the bottom of the shoes are see through and you can see exactly where the child’s toes hit.  Brilliant right? I thought so.  It was so easy to see that we had the right size and that they still fit, because as we all know kids can grow overnight and what fits today just might not tomorrow.

The other thing that really impressed me was the fitting inserts that they include with the shoes.  These are used to reduce the space inside the shoe when the fit is too loose. You have two sent with the shoe and as their feet grow you can take them out one at a time until you have just the shoe with no inserts.  This allows the shoe to be worn for a much longer time and ensures that the shoe fits well the whole time the child has them.

They also have what is called barefoot comfort, which is where the KidOFit Barefoot Sole™ is made thin and flexible and it mimics barefoot walking which is best for developing feet.  The bones and muscles work better this way which improves posture skills in kids.  They are also ergonomically designed allowing the foot to move more natural, which again mimics the barefoot walking kids need.

The shoes have an adjustable fit around the back, it is an elastic strap that stretches all the way around the heel and makes the shoe able to fit perfectly regardless of how wide or narrow the foot is.  It also prevents the kids feet from sliding in and our of the shoe, it has more grip in the back and is able to adjust as kids grow.

So, we know all about how good these shoes are for the growing feet of kids, and the best part of all is they are so cute! They are easy to put on and off both for the child and the adult and they are overall just a really nice looking shoe for kids.  Even if she is in a dress or shorts these shoes fit very well and most of the time she does not even wear socks with them, which makes them even faster for us to put on.

These are great shoes and the KidOFit website has so much information on what is good for kids feet, not to mention a vast selection of shoes for your kids from sizes 4-12.  They would make a great gift for any kid.  If you have shoes on your list for the kids you are buying for you will want to check out these shoes, they are incredible!

I love how the bottom is transparent. I would never have to guess if I need to buy new shoes.

Omg! That see through bottom is amazing! It’s so hard to tell on some shoes where their little toes are. These are awesome shoes!

I love how you can check by seeing their toes on the bottom.
