Do you struggle with planning meals during the week for your family? Or how about when you ask what everyone wants for dinner you get “I don’t care” or “It doesn’t matter”. I know all to well the favorite phrases my husband can give me are those two. I tell him I don’t make “I don’t care” or “It don’t matter”. Well, this fabulous book called Mealtime Magic: Delicious Dinners in half the Time Cookbook comes in handy for moments like that. This is no ordinary cookbook with just recipes. It features how you can save money, pleasing picky eaters, healthy alternatives, safe leftovers, meal plans and so much more. You really get all these things in one book instead of five or six different books. For instance, if you have chicken in the freezer and need to figure out what to cook with it, this book has a Three Day Plan. It tells you the ingredients you need, directions on how to prepare and cook these delicious dishes and last but not least at the end of each section is a “My Family Favorites” so that you can note which meals your family liked, what pages to find the recipe for easy guide, so that when you go to fix a chicken dish again you can see your families favorite. This is just a short summary of the book. Jennifer at Life of a Southern Mom had the pleasure of reviewing this cookbook with her family and you can visit her website here to read her thoughts and opinions. You’ll be glad you did.

This would make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook or who does not love to cook and has to cook every day.  I know I hate the question every day of whats for dinner! Neat book!

With Christmas nearing this would make the perfect gift for anyone in your family, a great teachers gift and especially your busy co-workers.

We love mac & cheese but if we need something quick we tend to go for grilled cheese which is good for any meal. Even better is grilled cheese with mac & cheese on it.

The quick go-to in my house is spaghetti. A quick sauce, some sort of meat and noodles. Serve a veggie (or two) on the side. Yummy!

My go to is Chicken fajitas. I cut up and cook a few boneless chicken breast, add a can of black beans and a can of mexi corn. throw in a package of taco seasoning. Mix it up and cook on low about 15 mins. These are the best with some cheese and sour cream!
