Something that I have learned over the years about children is that they have to learn the way that works for them. Some are more visual and some are more hands on.
Sometimes it depends on the subject they are learning and if they like it or not, other times it is just the way their brain processes things. I know that it is difficult for my oldest to learn unless someone shows him exactly how he needs to do something, they cannot expect him to read it in a book and get it, he needs it step by step. My middle child would rather watch someone do it first and then he is good.
When I was asked to review the Rock N’ Learn DVDs I was excited that it was another opportunity to see how Destini learns. She loved the “movies” as she calls them, but she gets impatient, so with the music help she was able to have her attention on the subject long enough to get it down.
She is only three and reading is going to be a little harder to pick up, but she is grasping the concept well by watching these DVD’s and learning what words look like. It is encouraging that she is loving learning, I believe that the Rock N’ Learn DVD’s are responsible for a lot of that. She loves to watch them and talk all about what it happening.

They offer language, music, reading, math, science and just so many other skills. I was truly amazed at the variety that they had to offer parents to help their kids. I know that schools are tougher now, and I know that we all need to be working with our preschoolers so that they are not behind just to start kindergarten. It’s amazing how fast they learn at a younger age.
Rock N Learn is offering all of our readers a coupon code KR8822 for 25% off at their website. They are also including a giveaway for our Holiday Gift Guide. These products make great educational gifts and you will not be sorry getting their products for wonderful holiday gifts.

Have a great Thanksgiving.
