I notice that as I move through life my taste in music moves a bit. I sometimes feel the need to listen to fast pace move to the music beats and other times I really just need things to slow down and focus on the important things.
There is a time for everything and in life, sometimes we are in a dark place and feel down and out, I know that when my mom was very sick and then passed away, I needed something to help me bring my focus back. When I could not find the words to pray, I found music that helped to get the words out of my heart and bring them to the surface.
Psalm 29:11
The Living Prayer CD is that kind of rock your soul and bring out your feelings music. These songs speak not only to your heart but from your heart and it is a good thing to have around when you need it. When in joy, we tend to move quickly and speed through life and this music also is a great footing to bring you back to where you need to be.
I love being able to put my headphones on and get lost in a collection of songs that brings me to a grounded at peace place. The song How Great Thou Art always brings me to a peaceful place but the celtic undertones and Eamonn McCrystal’s beautiful tenor voice just brings new beauty to a classic hymn. You can pick up this CD at Family Christian stores or on their website.
This is a beautiful album and the music will bring you peace and love and bring your heart solace. I am so happy that I was able to have this to review and listen to. If you are looking for music that is beautiful and is a balm for your heart this is the CD for you.
You can read more about Eamonn McCrystals at his blog.
