I am always on the lookout for great products for the kids that are not full of harmful additives and as much as Destini likes to brush her teeth at 3 years old we need something safe for her. I really like the Natural Dentists toothpaste for her. The flavors are so true and they don’t taste like medicine. I also really like that they offer a toothpaste with fluoride and one without.
I let her brush her teeth whenever she asks, however I do not want her to have that much fluoride as I know as kids will do she does sometimes swallow it. We are also just starting to use a tiny bit for David and with him being so little I do not want him having any fluoride. I brush Destini’s teeth with her when she uses the Cavity Zapper (flouridated) toothpaste to make sure that she is learning to brush and spit and not swallow the fluoride.
I have wasted a lot of money on products for her to use and most of the time she just does not like the taste, but I have also noticed that most of the all natural toothpaste are very runny and do not stay on the brush well. These gels from The Natural Dentist stay formed and don’t seep into the brush or run every where.
I do wish that the container stood up and opened rather than being upside down, it seems to be easier to keep neat and tidy if it stands upright, but that really is a minor thing, when I know that the product is this good.
The Natural Dentist’s children’s line in particular includes our Cavity Zapper Toothpastes, Plaque Zapper Toothpaste which is flouride-free and Mouth Rinse. Just like their other products, the gel toothpaste does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), and there are no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors. It comes in two great, kid-approved flavors – Berry Blast and Groovy Grape.
The Natural Dentist to make sure that kids and their parents have the best clinically proven oral care products – products that don’t contain alcohol, harsh chemicals or artificial colors or flavors.
The Natural Dentist is also sponsoring a giveaway for our readers to win 3 tubes of toothpaste, one of each of the flavors of Cavity Zapper and one of the Plaque Zapper (no fluoride) . You can enter the contest starting March 21 here on the blog.
