I know most people will think it is crazy but, I shop for people all year long for the holidays. Christmas, Father’s Day, birthdays, just about everything and I do most of this at Kohls! I have to save money any way that I can with three kids and two grandkids, and doing big holidays with a big family is expensive.
I use Kohls, and their earn cash back, coupons, and sales to maximize my savings there.
Now, I also use givingassistant.com to add even more to my savings. They have a page just for Kohls savings and I love it! When you go to the Kohls page this is what you will see.
You click on any coupon and then it gives you the code you need to enter during checkout!
As you can see from the screenshot above there are tons of ways to save money and this is just at one store. When I shop at Kohls, I always make sure it is a time when I can earn Kohls Cash and I shop in the clearance section, I spend the minimum and buy things for people for gifts throughout the year. If you watch you can get winter clothes really cheap and put them away for Holiday gifts. So, I buy the initial then I wait for a time for coupons, then shop the clearance again, and use the money off or percentage off and then use my Kohls cash and just continue throughout the year rolling my Kohls cash. If we need a gift for a friends party, we always go to Kohls and buy toys or clothes, (sometimes both) and use that Kohls cash to roll over.
This is something that if you do it faithfully throughout the year, with your extra savings and your Kohls Cash and their clearance, you will have so many gifts when Christmas rolls around you won’t need to break your December budget to have a great holiday!
I was so excited to find GivingAssistant.com and their Kohls page specifically as it is my go-to store for everything, it gives me more ways than ever to save money and still allow my family to look great and get great gifts!
When I think about saving money I always try to think long term instead of short term. It makes things so much easier when it comes time to celebrate and you already have a gift set aside, no more running to the store and paying full price.
So, how do you save money? If you haven’t yet you really need to try using givingassistant.com a try, they have over 55 cash back stores. They have over 1100 of the largest retailers to help you save money on whatever you need to buy, and have an average of a 5 % cash reward after each purchase. Don’t think you have to wait to build up a balance, you can cash out with as little as $1.00
Here is a summary of how Giving Assistant Works
Retailers pay us a commission for purchases originated from our website. Typically a percentage of the sale (Avg ~5%).
For purchases originated by our members, we pay the entire commission as cash back directly and digitally to our members.
For non-member purchases, we retain the commission, and make a small donation to Feed America to give one meal.
Members are given the option to automatically donate any % of their cash back to any charity of their choice.
Giving Assistant’s Cash Back Promise
Double Cash Back, Always. We give you 100% of the commission, unlike the other guys with just 50% of the commission.
We pay in days directly to your secure debit card. Not months
waiting for a check in the mail like other cashback sites. Minimum payout is just $1, not $25 like the other guys.
Hassle Free Guarantee.
Missing cashback? Giving Assistant has the best customer service in the industry to make sure you get your full cash back amount. I know for me that is all that I could ask for, and along with my gift buying stratedgy this is sure to be my biggest savings year yet!

June 19, 2015 at 11:40 pmWow. I love that you can cashout with as little as a buck. With as frugal as I am, for some reason I’ve never signed up for a cashback site. I guess I don’t like how flashy ebates is and how much I know they must spend on advertising. This site seems like a great place to start.
