When you are planning for a baby, you try to remember all of the things that you are going to need. I know that one of the things I forgot until after I already needed one was a waterproof mattress pad. I have to tell you, on the night that I needed it, I had a major mess in the crib.
We ran out the next day and bought one of the first waterproof mattress covers we saw. I was not a happy mommy when I put it on and found that it was basically a plastic sheet with elastic Not very comfortable for my baby and not to mention it was so loud, it was basically sounding like a trash bag was under his sheet and every time we layed him down in the crib he would wake up. As nice as it was not to worry about the crib mattress, it was not so nice that it was loud, hot, and uncomfortable. I eventually stopped using it after a few weeks and put a towel down.
Now, if I had one of these awesome Love My Crib Mattress Protectors, I would have been so happy. When I received this in the mail I was blown away at how soft and supple it was. The corners fit perfectly, it is completely waterproof, we got to figure that out the first day we used it and it was not loud, no crinkly sounds when the baby moved.
If you have a deep mattress, this will fit it easily and the deep pockets make it easy to slip on the mattress and at the same time it stretches all around so that it does not slip and move.
Love My Crib Mattress Protectors is so much safer for your baby than the old rubber sheets we had, this is breathable and padded just enough to make it comfortable. It is hypoallergenic and Dust Mite resistant, so if you are worried about allergies this should help keep that worry at bay. It also is made without Phthalates, BPA, PVC, Dye, Latex and Lead. There is no need to settle for anything less than the best, your baby deserves to be comfortable and dry.
If you are looking for a fantastic shower gift this is it, you could even get two, so that if one is in the wash. As an added bonus your purchase helps! Love My Crib donates $1 of every product sold to non-profit children’s causes.
