From the time they are born, little baby’s feet just scream to be covered in cute socks and shoes!  They are adorable little things without anything but inside little Freshly Picked moccasins they are just delightful.

Many experts in the field are now stating that babies and toddlers  are better off learning to walk in their bare feet or with a very soft soled shoe like these moccasins.
David is just at the age where he wants to walk everywhere, but we want his feet protected from stepping on things and stubbed toes.  I love these Freshly Picked moccasins because even with his chubby feet there is elastic at the opening and it makes them so easy to put on.  These soft soled shoes are made with 100% leather.  They serve David so well, and the best part is even when he is idle in his car seat he cannot get these shoes off.  As anyone knows this is a huge undertaking.
These moccasins fit perfectly, do not leave any marks from the elastic and protect his feet from rocks and dirt. Freshly Picked Moccasins are true to size and come in sizes 1-9.

Susan Petersen started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Using her second child, Gus, as a mocc-tester, and a bag of scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale, she began experimenting with designs.  she actually started making them out of a bag of scrap leather, and it took her quite a few attempts before she found the perfect design that fit.
Freshly Picked Moccasins have been featured on many celebrities baby’s feet and they are great little shoes for your baby or toddlers feet.

They even have a new line of shoes called The Next Step, which are still handmade 1oo% leather, however these have hard soles on them for when your child is ready to graduate out of soft soles and into big kid shoes to go out in the world in.
I love that every item in their shop is hand-made in the U.S. and are processed to ship as you order them.  These really are a great shoe for your kids, from infants all the way to big kids, they are made to fit their feet just perfectly.  You can pick up a pair or two of these shoes at their website and you have plenty of time to order before the holiday season.
