Do you wish that you had your doctor’s home phone number or maybe that you had an aunt who was a doctor and you could just Skype or face time them and get your simple questions answered?
I have wished this many times, and believe it or not I have two cousins who are M.D.’s but, I always feel guilty when I call them and ask advice.

Amwell has solved the problem of having that doctor you need anytime, anywhere without having to visit urgent care or wait for an appointment with your private physician.  You can simply use your computer or tablet and call one of their many providers to have a doctor visit when you need one.

You can talk to a pediatrician, a nutritionist, a primary care doctor and even a psychologist.  I think that is amazing for busy moms.

I want to concentrate on something that maybe you have not thought about when it comes to using telemedicine, and that is the psychology application of it.  When you are a mom and you have small children, a house, a husband, maybe aging parents, or perhaps you have suffered the loss of a parent or even post partum depression, your private doctor or friends have suggested you see a psychologist to help you, but you just don’t have time.  This is one of those situations where you can utilize the services of a therapist without trying to carve out an hour of your day (without kids) to go somewhere and talk to someone.

We as moms tend to put ourselves last and even though we are aware that hit is not a good practice, we still do it, and it seems that we can often make time for a doctor visit, and take the kids, but to see someone and talk about your problems, we just don’t take the time.

This is exactly where you can take great advantage of the option of Amwell, they have therapists available and you can do your sessions online, in the comfort of your own home, maybe during the hours kids are at school or nap time, maybe even in the evening when they go to bed, you can work out the times that work for you and get the care and services that you need.

Amwell even takes insurance and you can call to work out all of the details with them for payment.  I don’t think they could have made it any easier!

Busy moms deserve the best and they deserve care and attention to our issues whether they are medical, nutritional, or psychological, Amwell gives you the option of having these services brought to YOU on YOUR schedule.

You can check out Amwell at their website HERE, you can even get a free visit by using the code  CARENOW8 I think you are going to love this, this is a great service and I am so glad that I got to use it and that I can continue to have this resource.
