Venta Airwasher is saving me this winter!

I have written a few times about how much I love my Venta Airwasher and I have to say I thought it might be put away during the winter time, but  have found that I love it even more! It is one of my favorite appliances in my house. The Venta Airwasher is the first appliance for homes and offices using the principle of air washing without filter pads. Which means no washing pads or replacing pads.

When you are born and raised in Southern California, if it drops below 55 we are cold.  I know some of you are laughing at me because you think that not too cold, but here that is cold, and we have had our heater on.  When running the heater I have noticed that my sinuses and my allergies are acting up again, so I decided to run my Venta Airwasher a few nights and see if that helped.

I was shocked at how much the humidity and airwashing helped me.  It has not only helped my sinus and allergy issues but it has helped my skin not feel so dried out and I am able to sleep much more comfortably.  It was amazing to me how much better I felt while using the airwasher even though it was not the prime allergy season for me.  I am pretty convinced that I am going to run it all year now and not just in the spring when my allergies are at their peak.

Destini recently has had a horrible time with her asthma, partly because of the weather and partly because of dust and contaminants in the air, we have even spent a couple of nights in the ER due to asthma attacks.  I moved her into my bedroom to sleep and to hang out during the day time and she has been so much better, with no more need for her inhalers or breathing treatments.

I took some time and cleaned out the Venta Airwasher well, and made sure I added new water treatment to it.   While she was sick we even added the aromatherapy Eucalyptus Fragrance to the water which is a soothing blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, and tea. A necessity for anyone with congestion.

I am so thrilled that I have this Venta Airwasher and I am even more thrilled that it has helped Destini feel better, having a 4-year-old that cannot breathe is just torture, for her and us.
