Ah, it is summer time, time to get things for outside living and loving life. I love this time of year and being in Southern California, the weather becomes even more amazing. I like to live most of my time in the summer outdoors with the kids and the grandkids just enjoy being in the sunshine!
We make a lot of trips to Walmart to buy the kiddie pool, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, frozen pops, burgers for our grill and of course sunscreen. I was grateful that this summer I was able to buy everything I needed in one stop at our local Walmart including Poise pads for light bladder leakage, which seems to be a little more of a problem in the summer, probably because we are drinking more fluids.
Filling this cart took about 10 minutes!! Happens fast!
Before I had kids I had no problem with #LBL (you know light bladder leakage), but now it is a different story. I have all the typical things that lead to #LBL, I had a cesarean birth, then a natural birth, I am heading quickly into menopause, and I am in my late 40’s so these things are stacked against me. I used to wear normal pads like you would for your period but, honestly YUCK! I hated having to wear a pad every day of the month I wanted a bit of a break and more freedom, especially during the summer. I could possibly have #PoiseLinerLove
I am going to sew some burp clothes for the new baby, fabric at Walmart always makes me happy!
I found the Poise Liners to be perfect to wear, even under my bathing suit and white shorts, they prevents me from accidents and are comfortable and easy to get at my Walmart, I am there anyway quite often, so it is nice to not have to make a special trip to a drug store. Poise pads and liners are also so affordable, unlike some other protection products, and so much less expensive than using period products!
The best part is that even though I use the liners 98 percent of the time, knowing Poise has many absorbancy options that I can buy is comforting. From microliners all the way to Ultimate Pads for those times I need extra protection, you know like going to the amusement parks, festivals and long drive excursions that make summer so awesome!
I know that in the past, women did not talk about this issue, but I know for a fact women have dealt with it for a very long time. My grandmother who is now 97 remembers having to wear pads and belts just for a leaking bladder, could you imagine the discomfort and washing issues? UGH! The women of that time did not have any other options. We are fortunate that we have better options now as women. Not only do we have great choices from Poise and their selection of products, but we are also able to buy them with our other needs at Walmart. We have come a long way.
So, this summer enjoy your summer, live life to its fullest, wear those white shorts and have a wonderful easy breezy time with your kids, with Poise nothing is holding you back!

I cannot imagine how women of past generations had to simply suffer in silence. We’re all people and we all deserve good health and to feel good. Personally, I thought their commercials with actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Kirstie Alley were funny!
