I have a grandaughter who loves dogs. She has yet to meet one that she does not like! We have two dogs, and honestly, they are her best friends. She always is doing something with the dogs, walking them around the house, teaching them to take a treat gently and even reading stories to them. At 5 years old I am pretty impressed with her skills.
I was excited when we got the chance to check out this new toy called Peppy Pups! This is the next best thing I think you can get a kid for National Mutt day if you cannot have a live dog. They look adorable, their little head bounces around like a puppy, and you can walk them! They go where you go and they love every minute of it!

This is just a lovely little toy! It seems to be as real as possible with no mess to clean up, and something about it just is happy! When you pat this pup on the head it bounces around and almost becomes more animated, when you pull on the leash the puppy walks with you. All four feet move at different times, the collar has a bell that rings, and the head, of course, bobbles around with the motion, it looks so cute!
National Mutt Day is a celebration of all kinds of dogs, small, large, medium, loud quiet and of course mixed breeds, it is only fitting that this special toy dog would be a perfect way to celebrate! I am sure you know a kid or even a big kid that needs a Peppy Pup on this National Mutt Day!
