I was so excited over the holidays I got to try some amazing coffee! I always have a hard time finding coffee that brews dark enough for me without being bitter and off tasting. Most coffees are just too weak for my liking.
San Francisco Bay Gourmet Coffee sent me a bag of their ground French Roast coffee and I have to say it is pretty delicious! There was no bitter aftertaste, the coffee was smooth from the first sip to the bottom of the cup.
I am a coffee lover, I love dark coffees, Hawaiian coffee, french pressed coffee, espresso, cappucino, even flavored coffees. I probably have not met a coffee I did not want to at least try. Sometimes, like with the San Francisco Bay coffee, I am pleasantly rewarded with an excellent cup of joe!
Established in 1979, the Rogers Family Company’s steadfast mission is to search out the world’s finest Arabica varieties and roast the richest, most flavorful coffees available anywhere while making the world a better place at the same time. I always love a company who gives back to the community! I know a lot of people who can buy a random can or bag of coffee at the grocery store and they are perfectly happy with that in their cup every morning.
I know a lot of people who can buy a random can or bag of coffee at the grocery store and they are perfectly happy with that in their cup every morning. I was never like that with coffee, I don’t drink wine, so maybe I am just meant to be a coffee connoisseur.
I notice chocolate notes, a bit of sweetness, smoothness when you drink it, even if a coffee is grainy in texture, and I have to say that this French Roast that San Francisco Bay sent me is just smooth and brisk, there is a tiny bit of sweet, but not much. I have tried it with milk and flavored creamers and the coffee was great for both.
If you are looking for a perfect cup of coffee for your house, check out San Francisco Bay, they have a huge variety and have offerings for single cup, ground, and whole beans. They also offer gift packs for your favorite people!

January 19, 2017 at 6:46 amI have to say this coffee sounds amazing. Within the last year I have desired a stronger coffee for some reason. I no longer like my medium brew, it’s just not strong enough. So now I am trying to find a strong coffee that isn’t bitter. I have tried a few so far and haven’t found one that I love so far.
