Are you Registering for a New Baby soon?

I have so many people in my life pregnant or who have just had babies.  I am excited for each and every one of them.  I love to go with them to do the registry and always try to include my favorites.

First on my list is the DockATot, it is simply amazing! This is a multi-functional lounger for baby and works great as a co-sleeper, and does a great job as a playtime lounger for baby!

Many of you know Delilah had intestinal surgery at 3 days old and has had many stomach problems since.  When we use the DockATot for her to do tummy time and to play with her toys, she can be propped a bit and spits up so much less.

Her big sister who is 5 loves to take this from her and play her games on her tablet.  Neither of the girls sleep on this right now, but it is awesome when they are tiny and sleeping next to you while you recover.  You can set it up on your bed, and it creates a great little micro-climate for them and the sides are tall enough that you don’t roll over them.  Love it and suggest it to every mom I know.  It is worth registering for it and telling all of your friends about it.

Next on my list is the incredible and totally irreplaceable Ollie Swaddle! This is the best and only swaddle blanket you will need.

This swaddle is made from a custom moisture-wicking material that reduces the risk of your baby overheating! This is important for babies when they are not too great at keeping their temperature steady.  The Ollie Swaddle was made by a foster mom who worked with a neuro-developmental doctor to help a foster baby she had.

This swaddle offers even and constant pressure from shoulder to feet and yet the baby can move a bit so they learn to self-soothe.  I love that this can be custom fit, with the large velcro tabs and loop at the bottom, and it makes it so much easier to meet the needs of each baby.

One of the things I don’t like about swaddles is the pain that it is to change their diaper in the middle of the night, with the Ollie Swaddle the bottom is open so you just pull through the loop and pull it up to change the baby, no need to take the swaddle off and have to start all over.
