There is nothing that I like better in a toy than one that allows kids and parents to play together. A close second is when a toy teaches a child a life skill or gives them new information about the world in which we live. My Fairy Garden wraps all of that into a really great package!
My Fairy Garden sent us the cutest personal garden set for Destini to be able to set up and grow her own plants. It comes complete with a fairy and a little bunny to sit in your garden.
I was very impressed with the completeness of the kit, it included the pot, the seeds to plant, a small patio, adornments and even the soil for the garden. I thought we may have had to provide our own soil for the actual garden, but it came in three little discs that you wet down to soften. This really made putting it all together virtually mess free!
There are a few parts that need to be put together and you will need to help a younger child accomplish this but it is very simple and straight forward. Destini enjoyed putting it together and she is thrilled with the prospect of having her own flowers growing in her very own garden.
You can see the empty garden here and it could be used as just a fairy house!
Children want to do what adults around them do, and if you are into gardening or if you have had them help out in the yard planting flowers or vegetables, they are going to want to do it themselves. The Fairy Garden just really is a miniature garden and a toy at the same time.
I love all of the details that were included!
The watering can that was included had to be filled up about three or four times in order to get enough water in it, but that I think was her favorite part honestly.
Here we are all ready to grow!
Kids are going to love this, it would be a great gift, and will be perfect for helping your child learn to grow from seed to actual flowering plants and grasses!
You can get My Fairy Garden at Toys R Us and Target stores!

May 3, 2017 at 4:42 amThis is precious! I think most children are naturally drawn to playing with dirt and exploring the garden. This is great for encouraging that curiosity. And I love the added element of imagination with the Faries!
