Indoor Air Quality Matters

      Yum

My husband and my family have been spending a lot more time at home lately as I am sure you all have been, because of that we are all becoming more and more aware of the quality of our indoor air.  We live on a busy street and have two dogs that live in our bedroom most of the time, they love to be close of course.   Having tried a few air purifiers for our bedroom that did not do much, I was excited to be able to try the new Okaysou Air Medical Grade Air Purifier.

This model, the Medical Grade H13 True HEPA Filter – Better than True HEPA, AirMic4S is designed for small to medium rooms, bedrooms, offices, nurseries, and kitchens.  We chose to put it into our bedroom as its closest to the street and as I said previously where the dogs live.  The first night we used it I slept a lot better, and I am pretty positive it is because my allergies were not bothering me as much as before.  The air purifier is quiet and has a timer on it so that you can set it for the majority of the night but, not have it running all the time.

The filter that came with the purifier was marvelous and seemed to take out most of the things that were bothering my nose, just on the first night and now that we have had it running over that last week or so it has really made a huge difference.  Noticing less dust on our furniture was a definite sign of how much this was really filtering from the air we breath.  You can purchase different filters to meet the needs of your house.

The medical grade filter works on all kinds of pollutants, including dust, pollen, pet dander, pet hair, smoke, household odors, harmful gases like formaldehyde, ammonia, VOCs, I think it would be great to use while painting a small room or while you are cooking.  My kids often cook things on a very high heat which leads to smoke and horrible smells, putting this in the kitchen prevented one of those “accidents” from permeating the whole house.  I was thankful my husband suggested moving it into the kitchen.

If you are spending a lot more time in your home and are still bothered by allergies, dust and dander I would strongly recommend this great little machine.  It is quiet, and has a timer, light, a replaceable filter and  has a filters that can be specified for your needs.

Check out their website and I know they are having some specials for Black Friday holiday shopping so be sure to follow them on their social media channels.

In this time of a pandemic, it is important to keep our homes clean, we cannot forget about the air we breath and the health risks that can come from it.
