      Yum

When you have a new baby there are so many people with so many words of advice, most of them are well meaning and loving, and most are ones that you can ignore.

Tummy Time is one of those things that so many people dread doing with their baby as most babies are not very fond.  The Crawligator is here to help parents everywhere, help their baby love tummy time.  The Crawligator gives baby a steady place to rest their tummy while learning to move their legs and arms in the motions of crawling.

One of the best parts is that it supports their tummies just enough to allow them to practice lifting their head and turn it from left to right.  I have a 3 month old grand daughter that hate tummy time with a passion, she instantly cries the moment she is turned to her belly.  I cannot wait for her to be just a little bit bigger to really use the Crawligator, I am sure she is going to love it so much.  This toy is for babies for babies to start using at about 4-6 months.

As a grandma, my first thought was how can this be safe? This is made so that all sides touch the ground, there is no way for the baby to get their hands and feet caught in the wheels and it also ensures that the baby is only about 3 inches off the floor.  Should they happen to get to an edge of a surface the brake engages and stops them from rolling off.

I think the best thing you can do for your baby during tummy time is to engage them into play, talk to them get down on their level and help to entertain them while they are building their muscles and improving the gross motor skills they are going to need very soon to crawl with.  If they are using the Crawligator it would be great to be on the floor with them and encourage them to try and come a couple of inches to get closer to you.  The most important toy a baby has is their parents, they love you and want to do whatever they can to make you happy and exclaim with delight!
