yummi pouch logoSimply Southern Couponers had the pleasure of working with Yummi Pouch to review the Yummi Pouch. The Yummi Pouch was created by a husband and wife team. They wanted to create a product that was easy to use, economical and good for the environment. The Yummi Pouch is a reusable food storage pouch for snacks on-the-go.

The Yummi Pouch is easy to use and BPA-free. Once you blend your homemade treat simple pour into the opening at the top of the pouch. When filling you can either pour straight from your processor or blender. You also can easily scoop into the pouch by the spoonful depending on your preference. The open at the top of the pouch makes it easy to do either. Closing the pouch is easy; it’s just like closing a Ziploc bag. Just like any products make sure your seal is good, you wouldn’t want to lose any of your homemade food! The pouches come with locking caps. They can be used interchangeably to be used on other Yummi Pouches. The locking part of the caps can be cut once used.

Just like the filling, cleaning is just as easy. You can was the pouch two ways. They can be hand washed or washed in the dishwasher on the top rack. They do recommend that they are air dried upside down. It was quite simple to get them cleaned after use.  If you have difficulties their website has helpful tips.

The pouches aren’t just for healthy homemade purees. The Yummi Pouch team has come up with creative uses for the pouch. They have a list of 25 different ideas on how you can use the pouch, like using for storing crayons for on-the-go, taking along homemade salad dressing and holding hair clips.

The pouches are very convenient and affordable. A six pack of pouches will cost you $14.99 or you can get four Yummi Pouch Brights for $11.99. They also feature other products that go with the Yummi Pouch.

I absolutely love the Yummi Pouch. They work a lot better than other food storage containers I have used in the past. I also love the convenience and affordability of the pouches. They would make a great gift to!
