Family Size Stove Top Hamburger and Noodles

Family Size Hamburger Dinner

I am not a gourmet cook, but I have a big family to feed and I have found a way to make those boxed dinner helpers, go a lot farther.

1 pound ground beef

1 box of helper dinner box, any flavor I prefer beef pasta

3 cups water

1 cup milk

1 box of elbow macaroni, (any pasta will do really)

Brown the ground beef, and drain well.  Open the box of dinner helper, take out the seasoning packet, throw out the little bag of pasta, or keep it for another day,  add 3 cups of hot water and 1 cup of milk to your ground beef, add the seasoning packet and stir well.

Bring to a boil and add one pound box of macaroni

Turn down to simmer for about 20 minutes covered, stirring once in awhile

Done! Dinner for at least six adults.

We have a large family and I love this recipe. I didn’t know you could do this. I will be making it like this from now on.
