Emeals offered a sample membership to me so that I could review the service they have to offer. I was surprised at how simple it was to use their service!
The first thing I noticed was options. You can pick from several meal plans, if it’s kid friendly you desire, or vegetarian or anything in between.
So you pick the plan you want then you are done. Well, except for the cooking, shopping serving and then cleaning up.
My favorite part was that you could basically print out your meal plan and shopping list and go to the store shop and have everything you need for every meal for the week. Wow! I loved that part.
Between the blog, my kids, my grand kids, sports, my husband and housework there is no extra time for meal planning. This service is a real sanity saver.
So, I could focus on a lot of different parts of the Emeals service for you, but I will take it from a pint of view that for us was important. When you don’t do menu planning, you won’t eat at home. It’s pretty simple.
A few things happen, in our scenario we usually run out of time in the day to take something out, or we don’t have all of the ingredients to complete a meal. Who wants to go to the store and then come home to cook too? Not me!
The thing that happens to me a lot is I go to the store to get the fixings I need for dinner I end up buying things on impulse. I am hungry I am in a store full of food it’s bound to happen. I have learned to avoid the store while I’m hungry which means, that’s right we are going to pick up a burger.
Not good, and like I said, if you have no plan, then you won’t eat at home.
I signed up for the kid friendly meals, as I have pretty picky eaters and the kids menus are usually a little less complex. The recipes are simple and very straight forward, not to mention they are loved by just about everyone in my household.
I am trying hard to change the way we eat here. I have a two year old, a pregnant woman, and a son who is diabetic, along with myself being diabetic.
We cannot afford to eat out all the time either nutritionally or financially.
The Emeals service saves me money, time, and health all in a simple, easy, and convenient package. Now, if I could get someone to shop, unload, clean up, and actually cook and serve me I would be golden.
