Everyone knows MAM Baby has some of the most innovative baby products on the market today. They were kind enough to work with Tales From A Southern Mom for a review of their anti-colic bottles.
First thing out of the chute, they were so adorable. I noticed that they were patterned and looked nice .
The bottles they sent were 5 oz., however they do make a 9 oz bottle as well. It is vented and comes apart into 5 pieces for easy cleaning. You can get to every little nook and cranny on these bottles and I really liked that, as sometimes with some bottles you get milk in the crevices at the bottom and cannot reach it. With these bottles that is not a problem.
The bottles are also self sterilizing. You fill the base with one ounce of water but the nipple on top the bottle on top of that and then put in the microwave for three minutes. This is genius. If you go out and bring a bottle you can wash and sterilize it easily, no matter where you are. It is such a nice convenient feature that can help protect your baby from germs.
The bottles themselves are vented on the bottom and have been found to reduce colic by 80 percent in infants. This bottle has a pretty good chance of helping your baby if you are having gas and colic issues. No tiny parts to clean either, it is actually easier to clean than most conventiental bottles.
The nipple is silicone, so it is so very soft. It is silky smooth and the nipple is shaped specifically to reduce nipple confusion from bottle to breast.
Of course these bottles are BPA free and come with a slow flow nipple which is perfect for a newborn, they have level two, level three, and a cross cut nipple sold separately should you need them.
Overall these bottles impressed me, they look good, they clean well and easily, and they have a great nipple on them.
MAM is sponsoring a giveaway right here on our blog and one of our readers will win a set of the anti colic bottles.
