Live Colors For Kids is an app for your iPhone or iPad. This is a very cool app for kids who love to draw and color. It allows the kids to use the standard colors or it guides them through mixing other colors using the primary ones available.
The app itself has quite a few “coloring page” type pictures for the kids to choose from, and it shows them suggested colors to use. Of course around here there was no following the suggested color schemes.
Our two and half year old used every color imagainable and over the course of using the program she did figure out how to use the color mixing feature. She loved using it; she loves to color, on walls, tables, and of course paper and coloring books. We were able to use the app very easily in the car and even at restaurants to keep her occupied.
It was a really neat set up and had an artist’s pallete with all of the colors on it, and you are able to draw with your finger. There is also a free form feature that allows you to draw whatever you want. You are also able to save your work, and bring the pictures up at any time to see what you have done in the past.
I did get the app for free, but it is an app that I would purchase on my own for her to use. It is very fun and easy, and can be used in so many ways. Check it out for your own kids at the iTunes store.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
