Patty Pants Cloth Diapers sent me the cutest diaper to review for all of you! I love this diaper, it is so cute and is so soft. I am so excited to add this to our stash.
The first thing that I love is the material on the outside of the diaper, it is a swimsuit knit, which makes it stretchy and soft to the touch. The diaper is a hybrid fitted diaper and has a hidden fleece layer that allows you to go cover less for a longer period of time, however if you wanted this diaper to be water proof you would need to add a cover to it.
Performance Review:♥♥♥♥♥ –The diaper performs well! It has three different soakers that are just lay in, which makes it easy to customize to your needs, even if it changed daily. You could easily make this diaper work for any situation and also would do well as an overnight diaper.
Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥♥ – Could not be easier! You put it on just like a regular fitted diaper. One of the things I liked best about this cloth diaper was that with little boys you can move the soakers toward the front or even fold one over toward the front and for a girl easily move them toward the back. I love that versatility.
Customization & Fit: – ♥♥♥♥♥ their diapers come in two sizes: That makes it so easy to fit almost any baby. Our David is a bit of a chunky guy and the size one fit perfectly he is 18 pounds now and it is still roomy enough and we have plenty of snaps to go before he is too big for it. I don’t think you would have any problem fitting this diaper to various size and shapes of diapers
-Knit Outer
-Middle layer of poly fleece-go cover less longer.
-Cotton velour inner.
-performance knit outer with our exclusive designs
-Middle layer of poly fleece-go cover less longer.
-Cotton velour inner.
Leak Protection: – ♥♥♥♥♥ – This diaper is incredible, they have teamed up with Geffen Baby for the soakers on the inside. Every diaper comes with 3 Geffen Baby lay-in inserts, you get two Super Absorbers: 5 layers each of 60% hemp 40% organic cotton fleece and one Quick Absorber: 5 layers of 60% hemp 40% organic cotton jersey. This gives you a total of 15 layers of organic, absorbent goodness! These inserts are trim enough to be folded and placed anywhere in the diaper for your baby’s specific needs. There are no snaps on the soakers so you don’t have the extra bulk. Never a leak and never a problem and we have used it for daytime, nap time and even bedtime.
Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥♥ – This diaper can be washed in just about any wash routine. I use Tide on all of our diapers,(not stating that you should use Tide) the free and clear is one detergent that works well for us and does not cause skin problems in our kids. Line dry, or tumble if you would like. It does not take any longer to dry than my other diapers. I will say that it took about 4 washes to get the inserts at the max absorption.
Quality & Durability: ♥♥♥♥♥ – I have some older Patty Pants diapers that we bought used and they are still holding up well. I like this swimsuit knit and think it will hold up just as well if not better. I used the older ones for 18 months with our grand-daughter and now they have moved on to the new baby. Durability is not an issue with this cloth diaper. I think the quality is high as well, in order for a diaper to last that long it has to have high quality fabrics as well as craftmanship.
The Look: ♥♥♥♥♥ – Oh so cute! I love the cave man print, It can be used for boy or girl and the orange trim and inner adds a great pop of color.
In Conclusion: ♥♥♥♥♥- I don’t think you can go wrong here! These diapers are great. The fit is nice, the absorbancy is there, the quality is high and they last for a long time. The price range for these cloth diapers are 12.00 to 32.00 so you can choose your price point depending on fabric and extras that you would like. I love the cuteness factor of all of the prints.
I think that Patty Pants has rolled with the tide in the world of cloth diapers, and along the way have made changes, so they are giving you what you want in a cloth diaper. You wont be sorry if you buy these diapers, they will be one of the best you reach for every time they are clean!
So, I know you all want to get your hands on one of these great diapers. You can go to their Hyena Cart here, and find out how to get your own, and also following them on Facebook will alert you to the newest stockings. They are also giving one away to one of our readers here at Tales From A Southern Mom. Enter below to win one for your cloth diaper stash!
