Did you know that just one baby using a minimum of 6 disposable diapers a day equals well over 2100 soiled diapers per year being put in the landfill? With the average child being between 2-3 years of age before potty-trained, you can expect to put over 5600 disposable diapers in the trash.

That is a staggering number. If you think about it that is just one year, unbelievable that they are even legal. I do not know of any other consumer product that produces that much waste per year.
These diapers contain a Super Absorbent Polymer (source) which is a plastic, Dioxins (source) which is a carcinogenic chemical, bleach, dye, frangrances and adhesives are other additives and there’s more (source). Using cloth diapers reduces this costly waste, both environmentally and for your wallet. Plus, cloth diapers are a much healthier alternative for your baby’s sensitive skin!
