There are a lot of baby bottles on the market. So many in fact that it is easy to get lost in all of the benefits they claim and not the practicality of what you really need.
Difrax sent me a 3 pack of their bottles to check out and review for them and I was pretty impressed with them. The bottles are in an S shape which seems strange but this shape allows the bottle’s nipple to remain full while you feed the baby in a more upright position. Which is much more like breastfeeding, and also prevents air from getting into their little tummies!
Difrax has also included an air valve at the base of the S-bottle, which ensures a constant supply of air from the bottom of the bottle. This keeps air from mixing in with your baby’s milk and prevents air bubbles forming around the nipple. The valve in the S-bottle also prevents vacuum suction, so your baby can drink without interruption.
These bottles are suitable to use from birth and can take them all the way through the first year. The bottles come in both standard and wide neck The choice of either the narrow (Natural) or wide (Wide) model S-bottle depends on your baby’s preference. If your baby latches with its mouth only slightly open, opt for Natural. If your baby latches with its mouth wide open, opt for Wide. You may find that some babies with a slight lip or tongue tie will prefer the narrow bottle because it is easier for them to latch onto.
David is a baby with severe food allergies and problems with reflux, these Difrax bottles worked well for him as he was able to drink without having extra air, and it allowed us to feed him in the most upright position. It is so hard to find just the right bottle for a baby who is having feeding problems and after trying just about ever one available this was a welcome change.
These are easy to clean have great bright colors, look fashionable and come in two different sizes. You can order them from their website and i am sure you will love them just as much as we do.
