So much about my mom! She taught me about work ethics…that you go to work, you don’t call in unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. She taught me that relationships are not perfect, that you have to work at them for them to ‘work’. Her and my dad have had their ups and downs over the years but 33 years later they are still together and happy. She taught me that your kids come first, yes parents need to take that time to themselves but once you have kids, your life is about them. I live in the town I am in because yes I do like it but more because my children want to be here, I commute daily because i would rather do that then make my kids change schools. I go to work every day so that I can pay my bills so my kids have a place to live and food in their bellies and things that they want, etc. Seeing my mom struggle yet work through it taught me that it will work out as long as you do your best. I am grateful that she is my mom!

My mom has passed, but I have tried to be the mother in law that my mom was for all four of my daughters in law, let them raise their children and families the way they want, not be nosy, not be bossy and always be accepting and loving in all times.

What makes my Mom so special……. I could go on and on about how generous, forgiving and selfless she is. She has faced many trials in life and yet finds it in her heart to help others. She has lost a daughter and has managed to overcome the devastation and remain the wonderful person she is today. She would give you the shirt off of her back. She asks for nothing in return. She loves all 10 of her Grandchildren and would do anything for each and every one of them. She is my rock!

All of my younger life, i watched my mother go through some of the toughest times anyone could imagine! & through all her trials she never once lost her faith & never let it show for her kids sake. Now that I am a mom, i really don’t know how she did it but i learned what is important & i am blessed to have such an awesome momma 🙂
