Food Well Built, Stacked Restaurant makes it personal!

Recently I attended a bloggers event at the Stacked Restaurant in Cerritos, CA.  They have a unique model to their restaurants in that you order your food on an iPad at the table.  This made it so easy to get what you wanted when you wanted it, just the way you want it. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy, very inviting. They have a fabulous bar that includes craft beers and special drinks and monthly signature items.. 

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I really enjoyed it.  It came with a perfect bbarbeque sauce and a dollop of coleslaw with onion strings, that all fit (although barely) on a soft and fresh bun.  The pork was tender and very lean, it tasted as if they had cooked it all day in their ovens, simmering in sauce.  If you like to have lettuce or more onions on your sandwich you can add those to your sandwich very easily on the iPad that is on your table.  I liked that you could customize your order easily at the table.

You have many appetizers to choose from including candied bacon which is amazing. They offer pizzas, macaroni and cheese, sandwiches, salads, and soups.  Everything on their menu is completely customizable.  They have gluten-free pizza crust as well as buns, which I think is great!  

I ordered a kid’s meal and I was so thrilled with what was brought out.  Fresh looking mac and cheese, fries, fresh carrots and two kinds of “dipping sauce”.  It looked great.  I liked that it included baby carrots and a smaller portion of fries. 

Any of the items available on the menu can be “Stacked” any way you like.  You can add different condiments, different proteins such as chicken or veggie options.  In buns you can change from wheat and white, or gluten-free. You can add just about anything to mac and cheese including shrimp and egg if you like.  Pastrami on your pizza? Sure they have that too! 

In today’s climate of so many food allergies and intolerance it is nice to find a place where you can order what you want and need without feeling like you are putting anyone out.  Here at Stacked they want you to personalize your order and to be completely happy with your choices.  When dessert time comes they have ice cream sandwiches, ice cream sundaes and shakes, all of which can be stacked with quite a few options.  They have six flavors of ice cream and probably 20 or so mix ins or toppings.
