Remember when you used to be able to buy those little photo books and they said on the front Grandma’s Brag Book?  I remember those so clearly, when my children were young I bought a few of those for their grandma’s and they carried them around in their purse with school pictures or portraits session pictures.  Now, here I am a grandma myself and it is the digital age, I have more pictures of my grandkids on Facebook, and Instagram then I do in my wallet.  When Best Buy asked me to review and talk about the Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 I was thrilled, now I could do all of the things I ever dreamed of with my photos.

My favorite tool is the haze remover as this allows me to clear up any snap shots that we take, sometimes the kids do a great and cute thing but the lighting is bad or we don’t have time to focus well, this tool is invaluable for that.  I did not think I needed to upgrade to PhotoShop 14 but, I am so glad, if only for this tool.

If you are a casual photographer and just have photos of kids, family and maybe a few pictures around the house, Photoshop Elements 14 is such a great way for you to organize, edit, and share all of those things.  If you took birthday party photos, its easy to keep them all in one place and share with everyone who was at the party.  You can cut out the guy at the park that was not part of your party, you can focus on the birthday kid and make sure that they are centered and up front in the photos.  It is pretty neat.

I take a lot of pictures, but I am far from a professional photographer, as most of my stuff is done for the blog.  I have gotten to where I carry my camera with me everywhere now though, I know that with Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 I can fix my pictures and not just have to delete them off the camera for more room.

Now I am going to try to upload some before and after shots here so you can see how different a photo can really look!

You can see in this example how much clearer her face is and the shadowing is gone.  Notice that the blurry part on the right side is gone as well.  Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 has so many cute frames, I had to use one here!

I took this picture of the hibiscus in our front yard.  I was able to edit the left side with the fix it tool and you can no longer see all of the exposed dirt.  I adjusted the lighting and you can see the difference in coloring of the leaves. This is going to change the way I edit all of my pictures!

I think that you can plainly see that you can vastly improve the way your pictures look online and in your digital albums.  This Adobe Photoshop elements 14 is a game changer for your photos.  I have a feeling a lot of late nights are going to be spent editing some of my grandkids pictures.

You can purchase this here at Best Buy and it is just in time for your holiday pictures.
