I love Madeline cookies and I was excited to hear that Sugar Bowl Bakery were starting out with this great cookie and adding lemon! If you are a lemon fan, this is going to be big for you! These are so perfect not too sweet, not too crisp and not too soft, great flavor and great recipe!
I received some fabulous new Lemon Madelines from Sugar Bowl Bakery and I am happy to say that we all just love them here. The Madeline are one of our favorites anyway and to add the nice pop of bright flavor from lemons has taken our favorite cookie up a notch.
When I first got them, my head started to swim with all of the recipe ideas you could do with these to make some great spring desserts. The flavor would blend beautifully with some fresh strawberries and whipped cream and would be so fabulous to use instead of lady fingers in a special Easter dinner trifle.
They are called cookies but they are like having a little bit of special cake anytime during the day, they are great with coffee in the morning, with a touch of sweetness but nothing over powering like a donut or Danish and after a meal they are a perfect dessert all by themselves or with fresh fruit or ice cream.
They have the perfect crumb and always a fabulous mouth feel, they are soft and delightful little morsels of pure flavor with a punch of bright lemon flavor.
Just like all of Sugar Bowl Bakery products these Lemon Madelines are sure to become one of your families favorites as well, as they are baked with the highest standards and no preservatives they also contain no trans fats. When you have been around baking great treats for 25 years you know how to do it right and Sugar Bowl Bakery has proven that again with the addition of these fabulous Lemon Madelines.
