I love the smell of spring, it always brings the honeysuckle and jasmine out, not to mention the lavender that blooms everywhere. I don’t love that when the beautiful things are blooming we also have all the allergy inducing things blooming as well.
Most people wash their baby’s clothes and blankets in a free and clear detergent, but this dos not mean that the detergent is hypoallergenic, and when it comes to babies they need soap that is hypoallergenic as well as gentle on their skin. Dreft does that everyday for your baby, and in the spring when there are more allergens around it is even more important.
Cleaning your little one’s clothes in a gentle, hypoallergenic product, like Dreft, is a great way to help keep baby comfortable during the spring. When Destini was a baby she had terrible skin irritations and allergies, because of this she did not sleep too well. It took us quite awhile to figure out what the problem was, but the first time I washed her clothes in Dreft, she slept the night through. It downed on me then we needed to use this all the time
When we had a newborn it was easy to decide to wash all of David’s clothes even before he came home from the hospital in Dreft for newborns. This is an extra gentle version of the wonderful Dreft detergent. The one thing that I love about Dreft products is the smell and their amazing power to get out even the tough stains and odors in one wash.
Dreft is the number one detergent for pediatricians and because it is gentle and hypoallergenic it can be trusted and has been for over 80 years, I used it on my kids clothes and my oldest is now 28. When a product stays around that long it is because it works well, and mom’s love it!
For our household we will never have a baby without using Dreft, and in the spring and early fall we continue to wash all the kids clothes in it, as it helps with their allergies and keeps them from rashes from other harsh detergents.
Please join @Dreft on May 9th from 9-10pmEST as they host a Twitter Party with pediatrician and mom, Dr. Dyan Hes. Dr. Hes will be sharing her tips to make sure your baby is protected and comfortable during the spring allergy season.

June 15, 2016 at 6:33 pmWe always only use Dreft detergent. We started using it on all our family’s laundry after my baby sister was born. A couple of times when we had to substitute with other brands when our supermarket ran out was not fun! Dreft is the best for making your clothes feel soft and smell fresh and clean.
