I was so happy to get some great warm weather here in Southern California! My brother is getting married in 10 days and its time for a new dress to wear to the wedding! I have made the Brazi by Stitch Upon a Time before and I had a difficult time with it, this time was much easier!
My photography needs to improve some for outside pictures as I am not used to the sunshine! The fit was great and I loved that you can pick a cup size and a band/skirt size seperately. I think it makes it easier to get a great fit.
I did find the pattern a little fiddly in certain spots but, I do think that it has a lot to do with my skills rather than the pattern.
I made the length between knee and maxi as I wanted it to be more of a tea length dress. That was pretty simple to do with the pattern.
There are hacks that you can find in the Stitch Upon A Time’s Facebook group, some include nursing options and cross fronts. Some have even uncrossed the back straps.
I got this wonderful fabric from Purpleseamstress fabrics and is awesome!
The pattern also has a tutorial to add padded cups right into the dress which is handy if you like those. I personally dislike that look but I know some will love that option. Lastly, the Brazi can also be made into a bra only.
