Don’t forget about your Car Seats when Buying a Used Car

Recently, my family was looking to buy a new car for us, and when I say new of course I mean new to us.  When looking to buy a used car  it is a little frightening, you just have no idea what you are going to get.

However, I will tell you the number one problem we had was finding a car that would fit our price range and that would work for us and our family.  My husband would have loved to have bought a truck but, that is just not practical for us when we have the grand kids and their car seats in our car.  We knew we did not want a low car and we also knew that we wanted four doors. (Again, those car seats)

We tried Facebook, we looked up in the paper, we spoke to friends and we just could not find too many cars out there in our price range.  We then came upon looking at Cars.com and finally an easier way to search for a used car!

When you go to Cars.com you easily see an easy way to search for what you are looking for!  Enter you preferences and your zip code and then hit search, bingo you have a list of cars to call about, research, and possibly even test drive and buy!

I was so excited to read on Cars.com all of the information about cars and what was available.  One thing that many people forget about when they are buying a car is whether the car seats they already own are going to fit in the new car.  It is easy to forget to do that check.  If you have a car seat that requires a LATCH system, it is imperative to buy a used car that is outfitted with it.

We finally found a little SUV that my husband and I love.  It has plenty of room for the kids and all of their stuff and it is high enough that we are not stooping down to get inside of it.

Cars.com made our life so much simpler and it allowed us to find exactly what we were looking for without all of the hassle.  Check them out and see what you can find in your neighborhood!
