There are some things that we don’t think about recycling or worry about sustainability and I think most people do not think twice about where and how their clothes are made.

Prana is a company that will make you think about what you wear and how important it is to wear clothes that are sustainable.  The quality of the clothes we wear have more to do with how long they will last, how well they wear, and how they fit.

So many get wrapped up in price alone and I feel it is really pertinent to look at all the factors that go into what we put on every day.

Prana uses Organic cotton, conventionally grown cotton consumes about 25% of the insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides used in the world. The feel of organic cotton is just amazing, it feels so soft and nice against the skin.

They also use recycled wool and polyester, the polyester can come from plastic bottles and pre consumer waste which uses less energy and emits less gases.

All of the practices that Prana uses makes a huge difference in the way their clothing is made and how it feels on the body.  The raw products are all pesticide free, organic, or recycled and they are made to the highest standards.

Prana sent me an outfit to review for my opinion on their clothing and I have to tell you I was over the moon with how wonderful the clothing fit and how great it felt against my skin. They sent me the Deedra Sweater Tunic and even though it has not been cool enough to wear during the day I love it!  I have worn them and washed them and they are just as great as when they first sent them.

The pants fit well and look nice with the sweater!

The sweater is warm without being too heavy and it feels so nice and cozy. definitely one of my favorite pieces for the upcoming cooler weather, and the pants fit well, with no piling or shrinking after wearing and washing.  These are fabulous pieces that are going to be part of my capsule wardrobe.

I love how long this sweater is in the back!

They also sent me my favorite pants in the Ryley Crop Pants.  They are amazing at keeping that mommy pouch tucked in and looking great! The fabric is amazingly soft, I never want to take them off.

Everyone could make such an impact if they added just one piece of sustainable clothing to their wardrobes.  You can find all of the wonderful styles at the Prana website and now you will even get an extra 15 percent off using my special blog code of  MMJUF17

This code expires on November 17, 2017.
