Wooden Wristwatch
When I was little, my dad was always doing things around the house. I know that for him working with his hands brought him a certain satisfaction. Working with wood, however, was something that he had a special love for. So, the perfect gift for my dad was simple, a Jord Wood Watch. These watches just bring out the beauty of working with wood in all of its glory.
My dad always understood that wood was precious and wondrous and he could cut it and layer it and make it into what he wanted it to be. He made both of my boys captains beds out of wood, with drawers that went all the way through. They loved to tell people he made them, it made them feel special. This Jord Wood Watch would make any man in your life feel special.
“Jord was derived from our desire for a timepiece that modeled our modern lifestyle. Sustainable, efficient, simple, and influenced by experiential living. Jord owners don’t just have somewhere to be, they have somewhere to go. We believe our watches tell more than time.” Doesn’t this sound like something your dad stands for or even something he would say?
I love this watch, the classic look, the precision of the inner working, the timeless fashion statement. I love all of these things about my dad too. He has always taken woodworking to the next level, much like Jord has taken watches to the next level.
Dads are special and they have special talents and wise words for all of us that will listen, they even have stories that we have probably heard hundreds of times. I know for my dad, he is getting a Jord Wood Watch for fathers day because I think it is a beautiful holiday to remember dads, and I think this is a beautiful timepiece. What are you getting your dad?

June 16, 2015 at 2:40 pmI don’t have a dad but this year I am very broke so all I can do for my husband is fix up a nice picnic. That is what we have planned and to stop by the grave yard to put flowers on my grand dads grave.
